Through our partnership with PAIR Houston, we brought entrepreneurship education to refugee youth, providing them with skills and confidence to build their futures in their new home.
Our collaboration with PAIR (Providing Access, Integration, and Resources) Houston focused on empowering refugee youth through entrepreneurship education. We created a culturally responsive curriculum that honored students' diverse backgrounds while introducing them to business opportunities in their new community.
Students learned to identify their unique strengths and experiences as assets in entrepreneurship. The program emphasized practical skills like financial literacy, customer discovery, and business planning, while also building confidence and communication skills.
This partnership highlighted the universal power of entrepreneurship education to empower young people, regardless of their background. By providing refugee youth with entrepreneurial skills and mindsets, we helped them see themselves as capable of creating their own opportunities and contributing to their new communities.
